RecipeBox
My own Copy Me That. One click in Chrome saves any recipe without the life story, and it all lives on a computer in my house.

Why I built it
Recipe apps kept wanting a subscription, and recipe blogs bury the ingredients under ten paragraphs. I wanted one place for every recipe we actually cook, that I own.
It started as a weekend project.
What it does
Click the button in Chrome on any recipe page and it pulls out the ingredients, steps, photo and times. Everything is searchable and taggable, and it works on my phone in the kitchen.
How it works
A small Python server with a SQLite database runs at home. Cloudflare Tunnel makes it reachable at recipes.prosciudough.com without opening any ports on my router.
